Instructions
-
Step 1
Place your wraps on a chopping board, on top of each other and cut off four straight edges around your wrap to create a square. Then cut the wrap square into quarters so there are of 8 squares of equal size.
-
Step 2
Spoon 10g of Hazelnut spread (or spread of choice) in the centre of four pieces, spreading out leaving approx. 2cm space around the edge – these are the bases of your wrap pop tarts!
-
Step 3
Break the egg into a small bowl or ramekin, whisk well with a fork and then using your finger or a pastry brush, brush the edges of the four pieces with the spread.
-
Step 4
Individually, place the plain pieces on top of the pop tarts bases and using a clean fork firmly press down on all the edges crimping the two wrap pieces together – these are your wrap pop tarts!
-
Step 5
Lightly brush the pop tarts with the remaining egg and bake in the air fryer on 185 degrees for 3-5 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
-
Step 6
Remove from the air fryer, lightly sprinkle with cinnamon and leave to cool for 5 mins.
-
Step 7
In a small bowl or ramekin, add the icing sugar and water together, feel free to make this thicker or thinner as you like – this is your sugar glaze!
-
Step 8
Taking your slightly cooled wrap pop tarts, place a ½ tbsp of sugar glaze on each and spread it from the centre towards the edges and enjoy!
