Ingredients

  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 25g butter

  • 1/2 shallot

  • celery

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 60ml olive oil

  • 100ml red wine

  • salt

  • pepper

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Peel and chop garlic, onion, tomatoes, and celery.

  • Step 2

    In a pot, heat the olive oil. Gradually add the vegetables. Fry them, stirring when needed.

  • Step 3

    When the vegetables are soft, add a teaspoon of sugar. Bring to the boil. Blend together until smooth.

  • Step 4

    Keep the sauce on the heat. Add wine and butter, stir thoroughly.

  • Step 5

    Remove the pot from the heat. Your sauce is ready!
